Grand Palladium is unique in that it’s actually several resorts in one. While we’ll have access to amenities of all the properties, I recommend booking at Kentanah Family Selection. This option has been carefully selected for it’s SMBC-friendly VIP amenities, including a family butler and private pool. If you’re on a tight budget and still want to participate, Grand Palladium Kentanah and Grand Palladium Colonial are great options too, and there will be plenty of opportunities to connect regardless of which property you choose.

Book Your Stay
Enroll in Palladium Rewards (free!) for discounts/benefits including airport transport service. Don’t skip this step! Choose and book a room at Grand Palladium Kentanah Family Selection (recommended), Grand Palladium Kentanah or Grand Palladium Colonial. Write “Single Greatest Choice” in comments when you book.

Enroll with SGC
Enroll in the SGC Community Connection Package to connect with other SMBC families and let SGC take the guess work out of planning. We’ll offer optional group activities for kids and adults, coordinate transportation, and more. Enrolling ensures that you are included in the group, including locating your room close to other SMBCs.

Join What'sApp Group
Once you’ve enrolled in the Community Connection Package, you’ll be approved to join the What’s App group. This is where we’ll coordinate airport transfers, talk packing lists, get to know each other, share our vacation photos, and stay in touch afterwards. We can’t wait to connect with you!

Yes, you will both need valid passports to travel to Mexico. This can take some time, so I’d recommend working on this ASAP if you don’t already have one for you or your child.
If you are in the U.S., you can find more information about getting a passport for a minor HERE. Outside the U.S., please check your own government’s policies. -
Based on the SMBCs who’ve reached out so far, it looks like we may have babies under age 1 up to kids around age 5. Will there be older kids? Not sure yet, but I can keep you posted!
Is it OK to bring a baby? Yes - if your little one is under a year, they won’t be able to go to the Baby Club but they are still welcome! -
Yes! Restaurants are equipped with high chairs and many restaurants have kids menus/baby friendly options.
Cribs are available free of charge in any room type. All you have to do is ask! -
Babies (ages 1-3) and Kids (4-11) can participate in drop-off childcare with trained childcare providers between 9am and 5pm. This is not meant to be all day care and they do not provide meals/feedings, but it’s definitely a great option if you want to get a massage, take a nap, or enjoy the adults-only pool for a bit.

Yes! Room service is included in your amenities. It’s available 24 hours a day in the Family Selection and from 11am-11pm in other parts of the resort.

This depends in part on what type of room you book. I recommend booking in the Family Selection Kentanah, but there are other great (and more affordable) options in Kentanah and Colonial. Once you’ve made your reservation and provide me with that information, I will communicate with the resort and get us grouped together as much as possible. If you are traveling with a friend, you can call the resort or book them at the same time (by putting both rooms in the same “cart”) to ensure you are placed together.

Yes, once I know how many families are participating, the ages of the children, where you are staying on property, etc. I will coordinate some optional group activities. Additionally, we will have a group What’s App that can be utilized to coordinate plans on-site.

There’s not one! As long as the resort has availability, we are able to add you to our group.
I would recommend booking with Palladium and enrolling with SGC at least a month in advance in order to take advantage of the group facilitation and travel coordinating.
